Inspired by Sagmeister’s hands-on approach to design and his ability to create words out of unconventional materials, I created a short film to capture the emotion of love. Driven by the closing words of Edith Piaf’s “Hymne à l’amour”—“Dieu réunit, ceux qui s’aiment” (“God reunites those who love each other”)— the film tells the story of two people separated by circumstance and their eventual reencounter.

This animated infographic utilizes only typographic elements, movement, and music to represent the meditative experience. As the reader moves through the steps of meditation, the line loops less and the words shrink, showing that although meditation will not stop the mind, it will improve the speed, intensity, and stability with which it moves forward.
