NEUTRAFACE

TYPOGRAPHIC
BLOCKS

I designed, illustrated, and produced a set of typographic blocks that capture the essence of the Neutraface typeface and that work well alone and in unison. I used aesthetic elements from Neutraface’s inspiration — 1940’s Hollywood, Palm Springs, and Richard Neutra’s architecture — to capture the typeface’s essence.

CRATE & CROP

BEVERAGE BRANDING
AND LABEL DESIGN

I partnered with Eric Carlson to create “Crate & Crop,” a hypothetical juice brand made the good old fashioned way with totally natural and locally sourced ingredients. We designed and produced the label for the orange flavor and determined what the brand would look like across other media.

THROUGH THE
LOOKING-GLASS

SLIPCASE AND
JACKET DESIGN

I desiged, printed, and constructed a book jacket and slipcase using typography and hand-made imagery that dynamically captured the “through” concept of the book title. I considered how typography and imagery wraps around multiple surfaces, and how it works within a reveal-conceal relationship.
